Robyn has over thirty years’ legal experience. Robyn joined Morrison & Sawers in 1975 as an Article Clerk and became a Director of the firm in 1989. For the past twenty years Robyn has practiced predominantly in Family Law and Wills and Estates. Robyn has experience and expertise in all areas of Family Law. Her comprehensive and sensible advice assists clients to obtain the best possible outcome for them. Robyn also provides advice to clients in relation to the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorneys including complex Wills involving Testamentary Trusts. Robyn has successfully made a number of Family provision claims on behalf of clients.

Bronwyn Vine

Having commenced employment with Morrison & Sawers in 2002 as a Seasonal Clerk, Bronwyn became a Director of the firm in 2007. Bronwyn has practiced almost exclusively in Family Law and Wills and Estates for over a decade. Bronwyn provides concise and analytical advice to her clients. In a family law context, Bronwyn has a clear understanding of the issues faced by clients when they separate. Her experience in family law is complemented by her client focused manner and her ability to establish a strong rapport with her clients. Bronwyn was born and raised in Northern Victoria and she has a particular interest in farming and relocation cases. Bronwyn also has significant experience in the area of Wills and Estates. Bronwyn brings her experience in this specialised field to our clients and can assist with all aspects of this area of law.

Brooke Dedini

Brooke joined Morrison & Sawers in 2011 as a lawyer and has been a Director since 2018.
Brooke practices in litigation and dispute resolution having extensive experience in State Courts and State Administrative Tribunals.
Brooke has a broad range of experience in commercial matters including, insolvency, contract, property, consumer and competition, and trusts and estate matters.
Brooke also has a particular interest in general commercial law, including contracts, business sales and acquisitions, wills and estate planning, probate and trusts. She is routinely involved in all aspects of property transactions including the preparation of, and review and advice on, contracts for sale, transfer duty advice, due diligence and settlements. Brooke acts for a wide range of clients on matters ranging from the sale and purchase of residential property though to the acquisition and disposal of large scale commercial properties and farming properties. Brooke has a strong working knowledge of the Victorian and New South Wales Office of State Revenue who both play key roles in property transactions.

Adele was born and raised in the Goulburn Valley and returned to work with Morrison & Sawers in 2012 after having completed a Bachelor of Laws/Arts at Latrobe University. Adele works in our Family Law and Wills and Estates teams. Her compassionate and understanding approach means that Adele is able to establish a strong rapport with her clients who feel supported during what is usually a very difficult time.

Polly Symons

DIRECTOR

Polly was born and raised in the Goulburn Valley and commenced her employment with Morrison & Sawers as a seasonal clerk in 2012 before completing her Law Degree in 2013. Polly was admitted to practice in 2015.
Polly is an important member of our Family Law team, predominately practising in Parenting and Property matters as well as Family Violence Intervention Order matters. Polly also practices in Wills and Estates and Victims of Crime.
Her friendly demeanour ensures she is able to develop a good rapport with all of her clients whilst providing sound and forthright advice. Polly is sensitive to her client’s needs in what is often a difficult time and guides her clients through the process.
Outside of work, Polly is an involved member of the Goulburn Valley community. Polly is a volunteer at the Goulburn Valley Community Legal Service and is a Board Member of the Shepparton Arts Museum Foundation.

D’Arcy Curtis-McDonald

D’Arcy is a solicitor a Morrison & Sawers Lawyers. She was first employed by Morrison & Sawers as a seasonal law clerk in 2012 while she completed her university degree. D’Arcy commenced her traineeship with Morrison & Sawers in 2017 and was admitted to practice in 2018.

With significant experience representing clients in complex family law children’s matters, D’Arcy understands the value of providing straightforward and practical advice to her clients. She appears regularly in both Federal and State Courts and has an excellent understanding of Court process. D’Arcy provides her clients with clear advice as to the variety of options and outcomes available.

D’Arcy assists her clients with applications to the Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal. D’Arcy recognises that, unexpectedly, clients find themselves impacted by an act of violence. D’Arcy regularly assists her clients to make applications for ongoing counselling, security expenses and medical expenses to assist in their recovery from these events.

D’Arcy enjoys negotiating and appearing in Court, and her clients appreciate her ability to think ‘outside the box’ in order to achieve positive results.

Outside of work, D’Arcy plays tennis competitively and is a committed member of the Shepparton Lawn Tennis Club. She is currently on the committee for the Goulburn Valley Young Professionals. A passionate health and wellbeing advocate, D’Arcy spends her free time outside with her dog and teaching yoga classes.

Megan

Meagan Van Der Schoor

SENIOR ASSOCIATE - Accredited Specialist in Family Law

Meagan was admitted to practice in 2018 and practices predominately in the area of Family Law.
Meagan has provided advice and represented clients in a broad range of parenting issues including Recovery Orders, Location Orders, Airport Watch List Orders and Relocation Orders. Meagan can also provide advice in relation to property matters in married and de facto relationships.
Meagan has experience working in the Shepparton Family Violence Court, and can give advice on parenting issues, including the children’s living arrangements and the time spent with each parent, and Intervention Order matters in family violence situations.
Meagan works with a broad range of clients, including Legally Aided clients. Meagan is able to make applications for Legal Aid for clients where required.

Madeline Thomas

Madeline grew up in Benalla prior to moving to Melbourne in 2016 to complete her Bachelor of Laws at Deakin University. Madeline completed her degree in 2020 and was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria in August 2021.

Madeline was employed as a paralegal at the Goulburn Valley Community Legal Centre for two years prior to commencing at Morrison & Sawers Lawyers, where she gained invaluable experience assisting a range of clients with different legal issues.

Madeline has provided advice and represented clients in a range of parenting issues and appeared in both Federal and State Courts, including the Children’s Court. Madeline has a keen interest in Family Law, Child Protection and Intervention Order matters in family violence situations. Her friendly attitude and ability to build a strong rapport with her clients is complemented by her understanding of the difficulties faced during a separation or when Child Protection become involved.

Outside of work, Madeline is an involved member of her local sporting club in Goorambat. She also enjoys playing netball and renovating her home with her partner.

Jaime Rodrick is a Senior Associate at Morrison & Sawers Lawyers, primarily practising in commercial law and litigation. She also has experience in wills and estates, estate litigation and property law.

Jaime commenced with Morrison & Sawers in 2017 as a Legal Assistant while completing her law degree. Having progressed through the firm over several years, she has developed a strong understanding of both the legal and practical aspects of her clients' matters.

Known for her approachable and practical style, Jaime is committed to providing clear, straightforward advice and helping clients understand their options at every stage of the process. She understands that legal issues can often feel overwhelming and strives to make the process as simple and easy to understand as possible while working towards practical and effective outcomes.

Drawing on her experience across a range of legal areas, Jaime works closely with individuals, families and businesses to deliver tailored advice and solutions that meet their needs.

Outside of work, Jaime enjoys playing tennis and spending time with family and friends. She is also actively involved in the local community, volunteering her time on both the Goulburn Valley Law Association committee and the Tatura Lawn Tennis committee.

Alli grew up in Echuca before moving to Geelong to pursue a Bachelor of Laws degree at Deakin University.

Alli spent four years working in the Family Law department at a law firm in Melbourne and Geelong before joining Morrison & Sawers Lawyers. During this time, she developed extensive experience in various aspects of family law, including divorce, parenting and property issues, family violence, intervention orders, and Children’s Court/Child Protection matters.

Alli is compassionate and emphatic and understands that separation can be one of the most challenging periods in her clients’ lives. Alli has a deep understanding of the challenges clients encounter during separation. Her expertise in family law is enhanced by her client-focused approach and building a strong rapport with clients. Rebecca joined Morrison & Sawers as a law clerk in 2024 while completing a Bachelor of Laws and was admitted as a lawyer to the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2025.

Raised in the Warby Ranges and local to regional Victoria, Rebecca brings a grounded, community-minded perspective to legal practice, shaped by experience across metropolitan and regional law firms, as well as roles in governance prior to finishing her law degree. Rebecca’s focus areas include commercial and property law, and estate planning and administration.

Rebecca is a clear and approachable communicator who takes the time to ensure her clients feel comfortable and well informed throughout the legal process.
